Community Living Toronto has demonstrated innovation and leadership in the developmental sector. They are willing to share their expertise and knowledge whenever requested. They were an integral part in developing the new agency pricing tool, both in sharing of their system, providing staffing support and technical expertise. Community Living Toronto has also taken the lead on many areas of concern to the DS sector including the aging parent initiative, giving a voice to parents who are supportive of agencies, provincial strategies regarding websites and Connectability.
They have demonstrated their perseverance and determination and have assisted OASIS in achieving their identified goals. They are always willing to use their connections to get Ministry speakers including Ontario Buys and Vendors of Record information. Community Living Toronto is a deserving recipient of the 2010 Annie Oliver Award.
